Months worth of warnings and preparations about chronic shortage of personal protective equipment for hospital workers and first responders apparently didn't mean much in the end.

Just like at the start of this pandemic, where doctors and nurses were short of masks, gloves and shields.......6 months later and the shortages are getting worse, right as COVID hospitalizations are surging.
