Just the sheer numbers when it comes to California's real estate market are enough to shock the system.  The average priced home in the state jumped up at the start of 2020 to $615,090.  The median priced home in California is DOUBLE the national average.  After some talk of a cooling real estate market, homes here are as expensive as they've ever been.

The ripple effect is drastic, with expensive home prices impacting the homelessness crisis in California and even environmental and wildfire policies in the rush to build new housing anywhere and everywhere.
