LAPD Chief Michael Moore defends his criticized comments and the conduct of his officers

LAPD Chief Michael Moore got himself in trouble when he seemed to suggest at a news conference that the death of George Floyd was as much the responsibility of protesters as it was the Minneapolis police officers who killed him.

The Chief has walked back and apologized for those comments several times in the days since, but he might have ruined good faith that the LAPD had among protesters in Los Angeles.
