KNX InDepth (July 19, 2019)

KNX In Depth
Friday, July 19th
50 years ago the entire world held its collective breath as American astronauts approached the surface of the moon. And on July 20th, 1969, man would indeed land and then walk on the moon, a galvanizing moment that.........if only for a moment.............brought us all together in a way that arguably has never happened since.

We are commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission by talking with some of the men that made it possible, and getting their harrowing stories of almost calling off the moon landing minutes before it happened

We go In Depth on Apollo 11, a half century later.

Flash forward to July in 2019 and most of America is roasting. While we are getting an unusual respite from the heat, close to 200 million people across the country are dealing with an oppressive heatwave that's going to get worse before it gets better.

ICE agents are none too pleased with the LAPD.

And the new Corvette is out, looking a lot more like a European supercar than America's original muscle car.
