KNX In Depth
Friday, August 10th
It was one year ago this weekend that the Virginia town of Charlottesville became ground zero for the clash of racial tensions in this country. White nationalists and neo-Nazi's took to the streets, anti-fascist protesters were there to confront them, and the resulting bloody clashes--in which one woman was run down and killed--shook the nation. So one year later we go In Depth on Charlottesville and look ahead to the fear of possible violent protests this weekend in Washington D.C. Another controversy that won't quit: the first games of the NFL pre-season were last night, and once again some players were protesting by kneeling during the national anthem; and once again President Trump was blasting these players on Twitter--we'll go In Depth, too. Also, we all know about the long lines at the DMV...but are there special offices for the privileged? And later in the show, Is the proposed military SPACE FORCE "one giant leap" in the right direction? We'll go indepth. Plus, "Bond. James Bond" -- who will be the next 007.
