A massive fire engulfed the roof of Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of Paris, shooting up its long spire and sending thick plumes of smoke high into the blue sky as tourists and Parisians looked on aghast from the streets below. We take you live to Paris and explain the history behind the iconic cathedral. 

Today is Tax Day. The deadline to file is midnight. Post offices are open late. It's sure to be a busy day online too. Why do so many people wait until the last-minute? It causes so much stress so why do they do it? And why do people actually need extensions when they months to get this done?

Actress Lori Loughlin and her fashion designer husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are pleading not guilty to charges they took part in the sweeping college admissions bribery scam. The couple is accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters admitted to the USC as crew recruits, even though neither is a rower.

Those little complimentary shampoo bottles provided in hotel rooms could soon be a thing of the past. Lawmakers are proposing a bill that would ban the single-use mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner and lotion that are often found in hotel room bathrooms.

College students in California are struggling to get their college degrees in four years. There are many reasons which include rising tuition to a shortage of high-demand classes. Analysts say California could be shy 1.1 million graduates by 2030 which could harm the economy and reduce home ownership. How serious is this situation?
