KNX In Depth: What to know when you head out into a reopened economy this Memorial Day -- Former Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy implores us to keep those human connections

KNX In Depth
Friday, May 22nd
So you're finally ready to get back out in the world, after nearly 3 months of sheltering in place, and what better time to do it than a beautiful Memorial Day weekend?? But the new normal awaiting you can be a scary place, especially with coronavirus cases continuing to mount and no treatment or vaccines on the horizon.

What are the acceptable risks to take if you're heading to a beach or park or trail.......or if your outside L.A. county, if you're headed back into a restaurant???

Most public health officials remain uncomfortable with the pace of reopening; but clearly they've lost that debate, with too many people losing patience.....and money.....hunkered down.  What advice do these medical professionals have for a safe restart of the economy?

The new book out by Dr. Vivek Murthy, the former Surgeon General of the United States who served under President Obama, comes at a good time:  Dr. Murthy is warning about a silent plague on our physical and mental well-being, and no, it's not a virus. But this virus is contributing to it...........It's loneliness.

We go In Depth with the former surgeon general on forging human connections.....and we'll throw some coronavirus questions his way as well.
