TMZ often frustrates the competition when it comes to breaking news coverage because they're very fast, and they're almost always right.  They did it again on Sunday, becoming the first news outlet to confirm that it was Kobe Bryant and his daughter on board a helicopter that crashed in Calabasas.  But the speed with which TMZ worked to announce that Kobe had died didn't just frustrate its competition........it angered law enforcement agencies.

LA County Sheriff Alex Villaneuva called out TMZ by name, saying it was disrespectful of the outlet to announce Kobe Bryant's death before police could notify Bryant's family.
