California's natural disasters, expensive cost of living leads to hemorrhaging population

The Wall Street Journal headline on Friday was brutal: "Blackouts, Fires, High Gas Prices: Who Wants to Live in California Today?"  Plenty of now-former Californians seem to agree, as the expensive real estate market, high taxes and natural disasters aplenty led to more people bailing on California than moving in.
