LOS ANGELES (KNX1070) -  A woman believed to be a caretaker for a Leimert Park man who was murdered along with his elderly parents has now been arrested in connection with the killings.

The woman is being held without bail as investigators continue to piece together what happened.  The three victims were found shot or beaten to death. There is no word yet on a possible motive.

Three victims at a Leimert Park home sustained blunt force trauma and there is evidence of gunshot wounds on at least two of the victims, according to the LAPD Wednesday. Investigators were at the scene Tuesday.

Capt. Peter Whittingham called Nancy Amelia Jackson, 55, a “material witness.” Police said Jackson occasionally provided care for one of the victims.

The victims include 82-year-old William Carter, his wife 77-year-old woman Orsie Carter and Orsie Carter’s son Paul White, 62. White, who was disabled, lived at the residence while his mother and her husband provided care for him on occasions, authorities said.

They were found dead in the bathroom of their home.
