October 05, 2018 - 4:56 pm

(KNX 1070) -- A woman in Rifle, Colorado was arrested Monday after aggressively confronting two women speaking Spanish inside a grocery store.

According to the Washington Post, Linda Dwire verbally attacked the two women, implying they should speak English since they lived in the U.S.

Kamira Trent was having none of it.

Trent stepped in, and according to a Facebook video that's gone viral, let Dwire know exactly how she felt.

“I’m calling the cops. You leave these women alone! Get out," Trent defiantly screamed at Dwire.

“You come from a generation... ” Dwire began to reply. Trent cut her off saying, “No, I do not. I have respect. You do not harass people.”

In an attempt to rebut Trent, Dwire argued, “You will lose your country,” she said. “You know what, you will lose this country.”

Trent, unrelenting, followed Dwire as she appeared to attempt to leave the store. Dwire and Trent were met by police, where Dwire was arrested and later charged with two counts of bias-motivated harassment, according to the Washington Post,

Dwire was released on bond and is due in court next month, BuzzFeed reported.
