The UCLA men's soccer coach involved in the college admissions scandal has resigned.

The school's athletic department has confirmed the Jorge Salcedo, who held the position for 15 years, quit after being placed on leave a week ago.

A federal indictment states Salcedo took a $100,000  from the scam's ringleader to admit two students as soccer recruits who never even played the sport.

He's scheduled to be in court in Boston on Monday.
