December 05, 2018 - 2:09 pm

BALDWIN PARK (CNS/KNX 1070) - The man and woman found dead this week in Baldwin Park have been identified.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that the two were mother and son --  Susie and Joseph Drake.

There is no word in how they died. They were found in different rooms of the house, and officials say neither appeared to have suffered any traumatic injury.

Autopsies are pending.

The bodies were discovered about 5:25 a.m. in the 3900 block of Kenmore Avenue, according to the sheriff's department.

The man was in his 50s and the woman was in her 70s, according to the coroner's office.

This week, authorities did not immediately release information on how they died, or the relationship of the man and woman to one another. But reports from the scene indicated they were a woman and her son, and that they had moved into the residence several months ago.

Sheriff's homicide detectives were assisting Baldwin Park police in the investigation. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
