(KNX 1070) - Smash and grab burglars struck a high-end boutique in the Beverly Grove area.

It’s the second pop-up store for Amuze.com, which offers designer labels such as Gucci and Saint Laurent at discounted prices.

Co-owner Chaya Chesner says she’s grateful they didn’t leave behind a loaded cash drawer.

As many as 10 suspects rolled up on the store on Robertson south of Beverly Boulevard, and busted through the glass front door, leaving with an unknown amount of merchandise.

Investigators say they see a rise in crimes like this around the holidays.

Chesner says their plan was to be open for business.

Los Angeles Police Department officer Drake Madison tells KNX that this happened shortly after 3 a.m. at South Robertson and West 3rd Street:

"There were three vehicles that were involved, a Dodge Charger, a black Volkswagen and a Honda Civic. Approximately 10 suspects went into the location, smashed some display cases and other things and took some property including clothing, handbags and other property and fled the location. They were last seen going southbound on Robertson towards Third Street."
