(KNX 1070) - A Pasadena OB/GYN is denying allegations by more than 20 former patients that he assaulted, harassed or harmed them during treatment.

According to the Los Angeles Times, allegations of unwanted sexual advances and medical incompetence by Dr. Patrick Sutton date back to 1989.

The hospital knew about the claims but still allowed him to practice and he led internal investigations of other obstetricians for several years.

Sutton says last month, the hospital asked him to take a leave of absence or face suspension and he agreed to take a leave of absence.
