Toyota Dealership Owner Refuses to Sell Prius Models over Safety Concerns

The dealerships in San Juan Capistrano and Claremont say the cars still had problems after being recalled and serviced.

LOS  ANGELES (KNX1070) - The owner of two Toyota dealerships in San Juan Capistrano and Claremont says he won't sell certain used Prius models anymore because he has serious concerns about their safety.

The cars were all made from 2010 through 2014. They were recalled because of a problem that can cause them to suddenly lose power. Toyota says the problem's been fixed but Roger Hogan says he's serviced 100 cars that failed after being serviced.

Toyota rejects Hogan's claim and says his complaints stem from an unrelated lawsuit he's filed against the company.
