(KNX 1070) -- LA Stadium, the future home to both the LA Rams and Chargers is more than 50 percent complete and members of the press got a tour of the site.

The new stadium sits on 300 acres and when completed will measure more than 3 million square feet. NFL player and site safety manager at the new stadium,  Elston Ridgle, jokes it might pull him out of retirement.

He says the most unique feature will be the stadium’s roof.

The Rams' Kevin Demoff says it’s going to bring new life to Inglewood.

The Chargers AG, Spanos adds it’ll be used for more than just football.

It’s scheduled to open in the summer of 2020 with crews working around the clock to get it done.
