Far-Right Conservative Commentator Ann Coulter Slams then Defends Trump

(KNX 1070) -- Tuesday KNX In-Depth sat down with the far-right political conservative commentator and author Ann Coulter, to talk about how President Donald Trump is performing two years into the office.

Coulter defended the president and then took him to task.

Slamming Trump, Coulter talked about how he's broken his campaign promises. That's he's essentially been a "bait and switch," president, and never told his supporters he would be bringing Jarod and Ivanka Trump into his administration. But then Coulter praised the president on his judiciary policies saying he's had "fantastic appointees."

Coulter slammed Trump on abandoning his base. She says the president had a bond with his voters and surrounded himself with "yes men," and "listening to Fox News."

Coulter told In-Depth what she thought of the president's answer to the question posed to him last week about whether or not he sees a rise in global white supremacy, following the deadly shootings at two mosques in New Zealand, leaving 50 people dead. The president answered that he did not believe it was a widespread issue -- leaving many in his own party scrambling and explaining.

Coulter said Trump's answer was "great."
