(KNX1070) -- The latest moves by Apple have privacy advocates cheering and law enforcement fuming.

Police have been using a loophole to crack the passwords of suspects iPhones, but Apple has found a fix.  Captain Chuck Cohen investigates internet child crimes and tells KNX he doesn't like it.

But cryptography professor Matthew Green at John's Hopkins tells us there are other ways to access the data.

Green adds it's best that Apple fix the loophole before police phone cracking technology winds up in the wrong hands.
