Anaheim Police Release Sketch of Man Sought in Alleged Groping of 3 HS Students

ANAHEIM (CNS) - Anaheim police today released a composite sketch of a man being sought for groping three Savanna High School students walking to school since last week.

The first attack was Thursday and the most recent one was Monday morning in the 2800 block of West Lincoln Avenue, said Anaheim police Sgt. Jeff Mundy. Police are going through recent crime reports to determine if the man could be linked to other such attacks, Mundy said.

The victims were all walking to the high school at 301 N. Gilbert St. between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. when the suspect approached from behind and either groped their buttocks or breasts before running away, Mundy said.

The suspect is an unshaven Latino man who is in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet, 3 inches to 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with a thin build and short hair.

The Anaheim Police Department is collaborating with the Anaheim Union High School District to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Police are reminding students and parents to be aware of their surroundings when
