(KNX 1070) -- An Anaheim man has been sentenced to four years in prison for a road-rage crash that killed a nine-year-old boy in Orange in August of 2015.

Miguel Villagomez, 29, was convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter.

Villagomez, 29, and co-defendant Roderick Kent Jerro, 53, both sped through a red light at an intersection where the victim was crossing the street with his sister.

The two men had been involved in a minor collision a few minutes before that and a chase began.

After hitting the boy, neither driver stopped to check on him. He died later at the hospital.

Jerro was also convicted and will be sentenced next month.
