Airbnb and NAACP Join Forces on Home Sharing in LA

(KNX1070) - Airbnb has joined forces with the NAACP to try to coax people in other communities across Los Angeles to give home sharing a chance. For example, those who live in South L.A.

While many people may want to stay at the beach, others may not want to or can’t afford to. Airbnb officials say some people in some areas may not have a clue what Airbnb is. They are trying to spread the word so they can spread the wealth.

Airbnb says the typical host brings in a little over $8000 per year in income from home sharing.
