Police said Sunday that a search warrant was served at a home in a Pomona neighborhood. The neighborhood is known for recent gang activity.

The police searched a home in the 2200 block of Concord Avenue where they found ammunition and firearms - some not compliant with California laws.

Several adult males and females were found drinking in front of the residence when the police arrived. Two armed men attempted to run away and were detained, police reports said

Arrests were made for Enrique Renteria, 20, and Isidor Mendiola, 46.

According to police, Antonia Valadez, 45, was "responsible" for the home and had several firearms inside the residence along with magazines and ammunition.

Also at the home was Joseph Hernandez, 26, who had a no-bail warrant out for his arrest.
