(KNX 1070) -- A 74-year-old man has died after a woman violently pushed him off a public bus in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police released surveillance video of the incident to help bolster their case against the woman.

According to witnesses, on March 21, Serge Fournier was riding a public bus, when he asked passenger Cadesha Michelle Bishop, 25, who was arguing with several people on the bus, to "be nicer to the other passengers."

Bishop became upset, and the conversation escalated to the point at which she forcefully pushed Fournier off the bus as he was getting off at his stop. He landed face-down on the sidewalk and died a month later as a result of his injuries.

Bishop was arrested on May 6. She was charged with murder on an elderly and vulnerable person and remains jailed on a $100,000 bail pending a preliminary hearing of evidence on May 21.

Bishop's public defense attorney Charles Cano has not made a public statement on behalf of his client.

The Las Vegas Police department is still hoping witnesses on the bus the day of the altercation will come forward.
