Whether you are rooting for the San Francisco 49ers, the Kansas City Chiefs, or Jennifer Lopez and Shakira at the Super Bowl, everyone can agree to come together over their mutual admiration for chicken wings.

Buffalo Wild Wings is doubling down on the poultry love by offering fans across the country the chance to get a free order of chicken wings if the game goes into overtime.

If the big game does go into OT as it did in 2017, the company will give any customer who comes into one of their restaurants a free order of boneless or traditional wings on Monday, February 17, 2020, between the hours of 4-7 p.m. local time.

“Football fans love to have fun with our established connection to overtime, tweeting at us any time a game goes to extra time. That was taken to the next level last year when free wings were on the line, so we knew we had to bring this program back,” Buffalo Wild Wings said in a statement.

“More football AND free wings? Now that’s something all football fans can get behind and root for on February 2!”

It should be noted that the Super Bowl has only gone into overtime one time before (in 2017).  And Vegas odds put the chance of it happening this year at about 10%. But hey, you’ve got to dream big, so don’t give up hope!

Fun fact: Americans eat around 1.3 billion chicken wings on Super Bowl Sunday, according to the National Chicken Council.

The San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV, with kickoff from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
