“Tiger King” took the world by storm when it debuted on Netflix in March to entertain the masses during the coronavirus-imposed quarantine.

The docuseries drew in 34 million unique viewers in the first 10 days of its release beating out the record previously held by season 2 of “Stranger Things.”

After seven episodes of the docuseries, fans were left wondering what happens next.

There were rumblings that the streaming service was planning on adding one more episode, but is that true? Will the saga continue?

Here’s what we know so far.

The docuseries, which exposes the twisted world of tiger breeding, focuses on some interesting players, including Joe Exotic, real name Joseph Maldonado Passage.

The former owner of G.W. Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma is currently serving a 22-year prison sentence for his role in the murder-for-hire plot against enemy, Carole Baskin, among other charges associated with animal cruelty.

When Jeff Lowe, Exotic’s former business partner and current zoo owner, revealed that another episode was in the works, many believed that Joe, the self-proclaimed Tiger King, wouldn’t make an appearance, but that’s not entirely true.

Netflix shared a video of Joe Exotic on Twitter last week stating he was “interviewed from prison on March 22."

Speaking from prison through a phone, Exotic commented on his newfound fame explaining that “it would be nice if I could actually see me being famous out there.”

He even said he’s “dropping the Carole Baskin saga” and turning the tables so that he can get out of jail a free man.

Whether those were snippets of the upcoming episode is unclear, but Lowe seemed confident in sharing the news that Netflix was adding another episode during a video made for Cameo -- a platform where fans can pay to get a personalized video from a celebrity.

Lowe said, "Netflix is adding one more episode. We’ll be on next week. We’re filming here tomorrow. Take care, stay safe, and put your mask on."

Lowe and his wife currently manage the zoo they got from Exotic and still have plans to open a “new and improved” zoo called “Oklahoma Zoo” this spring.

One person you shouldn't expect to see in any bonus episode is Baskin, the animal rights activist accused of killing her second husband by feeding him to the tigers. She likely won’t appear in the follow-up episode as she was not approached about it.

More so, she would “not participate if asked,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

The publication also notes that Exotic’s ex-husband John Finlay and fellow animal trainer and zoo owner Doc Antle also expressed their disinterest in appearing in anymore “Tiger King” projects because they weren’t happy with how they were initially portrayed.

Exotic’s current husband, Dillon Passage, reportedly said that he was also not asked to participate but clarified that the episode is more of a “reunion special.”

While Lowe seemed confident that an episode was coming “next week,” Netflix has neither confirmed nor denied the rumblings.

Recently, Exotic was moved to quarantine in a healthcare facility in Texas after fellow prisoners tested positive for coronavirus.

On Wednesday, President Donald Trump joked he would “take a look” at possibly pardoning Exotic.
