"Dancing With the Stars" hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are dancing off stage and out of the show.

In a statement from ABC, the show is moving to "embark on a new creative direction." ABC went on to say that Bergeron “departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success.”

Bergeron, who's been with the show since 2005 said on Twitter, “It’s been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career,” he wrote. “I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made.”

As for Andrews, who's been with the show as a co-host since 2014, ABC said "Her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show,” the statement read.

Last year, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer made his dancing debut on the show in its premiere.

Wearing a bright yellow shirt full of ruffles and white pants, he danced to the Spice Girls "Spice Up Your Life" which drew interesting reactions from the judges.

Bergeron made his feelings known about Spicer joining the show at the time, tweeting that he hoped the season could be “joyful respite from our exhausting political climate” and urged them not have any “divisive bookings.”

It was reported that ABC producers were less than pleased with Bergeron's opinion. “We can agree to disagree, as we do now, but ultimately it’s their call,” Bergeron wrote in response to producers.
