Toss the Tusk at the L.A. Zoo

“Toss the Tusk” -- a free public drop-off event of items made from tusks and horns such as jewelry, trinkets, statues, and other wildlife goods and products. People are asked to simply bring their unwanted ivory and wildlife goods to the zoo at the drop-off zone, which will be located just to the right of the main zoo entrance. By surrendering ivory, people will ensure that these products will never be made available on the market. And by removing ivory products from the market, communities can reduce demand and keep elephants, rhinos and hippos alive for generations to come.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
