Dozens of Rescued Dogs Up for Adoption Today at OC Animal Care

June 25, 2019 - 11:15 am

Nearly one month after being rescued from a hoarding situation in the City of Orange dozens of dogs are now up for adoption.

The online adoption applications will be available starting at noon Tuesday.

Going from filth and neglect, the adoption process will give the Shih Tzu's another shot at a loving, happy life.

More than 140 dogs were taken from a multi-million dollar home last month and about 50 have been cleared for adoption.

Chair of the OC Board of Supervisors, Lisa Bartlett, made a point to note that these dogs are not the only animals in need of loving families. She encouraged people to fill out applications on the OC Animal Care website as soon as possible.

Misdemeanor animal cruelty charges have been leveled against the homeowners in the hoarding case.
