Disneyland Resort employees are planning a protest in Anaheim Saturday in response to the health and safety of workers due to the park's reopening.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, June 17, the Coalition of Resort Labor Unions sent a letter to Governor Newsom expressing concern over the safety of workers and guests as the theme park plans its reopening.

In a June 10th press release announcing the theme park’s reopening, Disney said, “additional information on enhanced health and safety measures and operational changes for reopening locations will be shared soon."

Starting on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, the unions plan to protest via a caravan circling the resort "as an action to show our concerns regarding safety," reads a message from the unions to members' Facebook page.

Dozens of union members had signed up to protest as of Wednesday morning.
