SYLMAR (CNS) - A 29-year-old Sylmar woman and her three children, ages 9, 6 and 5, who many believed were missing this morning have been found at the U.S.-Mexico border at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

Officers responded to a home in the 13600 block of Fellows Avenue about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and initially thought a kidnapping may have occurred at the location, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Robbery-Homicide Division Detectives are currently with Liliana Lopez and her children to determine the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Detectives sought five people of interest, including the woman, Liliana Lopez, and her children, Jakob Cabrera, 9, Steven Matthew Lopez, 6, and Linda Lopez, 5, the LAPD said.

The father of at least two of the children, identified as Esteban Lopez, 28, is believed to still be in Mexico.
