Chris Hemsworth: Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky pledged a whopping $1 million, while also encouraging his followers and fans to donate, urging that "every dollar counts."

Sir Elton John: He told a crowd at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney how much he "loves" Australia in an emotional speech recorded by a fan. Then he put his money where his mouth was and donated $1 million to the cause. 

Selena Gomez: It's rumored the young singer and actress donated $3 million. And a post on Twitter she encouraged her fans to give as well. 

Lizzo: While on tour in Australia, the body-positive singer and musician urged fans to follow her lead and donate to help in the efforts. Lizzo gave in an undisclosed donation to state fire services. 

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban: This dynamic duo gave $500,000. 

Pink: After giving $500,000, the singer went to Twitter asking others to follow her lead. "I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires. I am pledging a donation of $500,000 directly to the local fire services that are battling so hard on the frontlines. My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz."
