One of Los Angeles' oldest and most beloved dog rescue boutiques, Bark N' Bitches is being blistered on social media after a video emerged of an employee seen picking up a dog by the scruff of its neck and violently throwing it to the ground.

The incident was caught on camera by RipRoyce who was visiting the shop to look for a pup to adopt.

The outrageous act was called out immediately by onlookers who rushed to the dog's side to make sure it was alright.

Owner of the story, Shannon von Roemer shot her own video response saying the employee's behavior was "horrific," and "intolerable," and the woman had been fired.

"We've been in business for 14 years, and I want to assure you that this is a first,' von Roemer said. "We will make sure that this doesn't happen again."

Roemer said the dog, who can be seen visibly cowering under a table after being thrown to the ground, was taken to a veterinarian and had no physical injuries.

But, nothing Roemer could say was able to stop the onslaught of comments calling for the store to be closed, and the employee to be charged.
