A Portland-based athletic clothing company is taking an aggressive approach to advertising with new ads featuring women tying up or silencing President Donald Trump.

Using the hashtag #StandForSomething, Dhavani clothing brand went so far as to run the ads in Times Square.

"As you know, we're extremely passionate about creating high-quality, fashionable and innovative products in the most sustainable and ethical ways possible," Dhavani tweeted. "But the state of the world weighs heavily on us. There is a palpable tension in the air, an untenable clash of ideals, and we can no longer just sit back and watch."

The brand is marking itself as the "world's first and only Activ(ist)Wear company."

With every purchase, the company has promised that it "makes an impact by partnering with organizations that make change."
